Available versions
For first users or users that run a version of Eclipse older than Kepler SR2, we recommend to download these ready to use packages.
The current version of the plug-in is 2.1.9.rev001-20230315-1053. See the changelog.
Requirements
First, be sure you have the right JVM for the corresponding package, and check the following points:
- A JVM version 1.7 or greater is required.
- 32-bit version of Eclipse requires a 32-bit JVM.
- 64-bit version of Eclipse requires a 64-bit JVM, but also a 32-bit JVM for integration with the X3 V6 desktop client. Install first the 32-bit version and then the 64-bit version.
If you do not have such JVM, visit the Java download page to download and install it.
How to install your package?
- Unpack the downloaded zip file to the directory of your choice
- Create a shortcut to the eclipse.exe file
Warning
These packages come with the Eclipse Subversive SVN Team provider.
Because of the license terms, SVN connectors cannot be embedded in the plugin, so you will be prompted to install them at the first use.
We recommend to select the most recent SVN Kit connector (version 1.8.7 at this time) or the most recent Native JavaHL connector (version 1.8.10 at this time)
Don’t worry about the security warning you may have during the installation process, and press OK.
